4 PRETTY AIR PURIFYING PLANTS

A great way to try and clean the air in your home or workspace is buy purchasing a few purifying plants. These little guys are amazing at sucking up all the toxins through their leaves and roots and cleaning out all of the nasties that might be hovering around you when you sleep or work. ALOE VERA: (top left) This little beauty is not only great at soothing soothe sunburns, stings, or cuts but it can also detoxify the body and is great for purifying the air. Aloe can also help clear the air of pollutants found in harsh chemical cleaning products.
SNAKE PLANT: (top right)
Don’t have a green thumb? Then this is the plant for you as it can thrive without much light or water. It’s also efficient at absorbing carbon dioxide and releases oxygen during the night (while most plants do during the day), so putting one in your bedroom is a great way to get a great night sleep.
BAMBOO PALM: (bottom left)
This is such a pretty and soothing plant! It also has a purifying score of 8.4. The palm is effective at clearing out benzene and trichloroethylene (causes of respiratory issues) from the air. They do need to be well watered and placed in shade, but will return the favour by pumping out clean, fresh air into your space.
PEACE LILY: (bottom right)
This beautiful flower is a wonderful low-maintenance plant to keep in the home. Peace lilies do well in shade and cooler temperatures, and have been proven to significantly reduce the levels of a number of toxins in the air.
